Hello Topi

We are happy to inform that Topi Lintukangas has jumped aboard since the beginning of August. Our new managing director has a strong background in design industry and product development. A former Suunto Outdoor manager and design agency Tango account director, Topi is a passionate design and outdoor sports enthusiast.

Together with Topi and our clients we are continuing with our quest to become the first truly global strategic driven design agency in Finland. "For our clients visualization of strategy - how to make every single design element push forward the brand and business objectives of a company - is The Thing", says Lintukangas. We want to welcome Topi and remind you to stay tuned: we are about to make a few chosen Finnish brands a little more beautiful.

New HGL website

We are very happy to present here our work, thinking and flavour. We've been running for a bit over a year and here you'll get to see what we've been up to. The site was designed at Hello Goodlooking, after some extensive work on the look and usability, while Kuvio Helsinki did the Flash programming. Hope you enjoy it and please send feedback!

Konebox hits the spot

The results from case Konebox have been more than promising. As said in the Works section, 900.000 people visited the web store during first three months. "Instead of killing brands, we create new ones. Konebox is a success story", comments Anne Laakso, brand director of Kesko (Markkinointi&mainonta 3/09). On top of that, Konebox boasts 10% of Musta Pörssi total sales after three first months (Kauppalehti 1/09).

Ideapäivät around the world

The International Council of Graphic Design Associations has approved a work from the Ideapäivät campaign to its web gallery. The gallery reviews work from designers around the world. Please pay a visit here. The German design magazine Page also reviewed two works from the Ideapäivät campaign in its 05.2009 issue. The works were presented in their cover article "Bauhaus Reloaded" as examples of Bauhaus influence on modern design.
